Hello

my paper crane and more

April 20, 2007

well.. in the book i mentioned below ‘The Crafters Companion’ there are lots of great projects.. so last night I copied out the pattern to make this cute little my paper crane tissue box house.. we are coming up to Winter here in Melbourne.. and last week heralded the first runny nose of the year.. so it is very timely… I think I might also make one for Souraya.. who is battling an allergy to her brand new puppy, Frankie! I’ll post a pic when it is done!
Thankyou everyone for your lovely COMMENTS! There is still time to comment on the previous post and be in the running to win a lovely prize, as detailed below! Keep scrolling down to find out more!
Also on the cards today.. go to Clegs and pick up one more ball of wool for the pink scarf I am halfway through… and make up some Paper and Print packs for the store… these are chock full of vintage pinking-sheared fabric and vintage wrapping papers and 70s greeting cards and playing cards and game cards and swap cards and buttons and all sorts of ephemera!

We got a big delivery of Lark goodies (above) this week.. including mirrors, hair ties, donuts, hair pins, mini rulers and more! and don’t forget the One Red Robin delights (below) too… thankyou Allison and Jhoanna for their lovely images!
Please let us know if you have any lovely handmade things you might like to try selling at Mikes.. just sent us an email!
