A little heavy handed on the steamer/milk situation this morning.. my coffee ended up all fluffy and frothy and marshmallow-milky… but it was still nice! I bought 4 of these cups and saucers last week… they are Turi design (for Viking this time)… and I love them because they are not too teeny. I smile in the direction of tsk tsk for her Turi tip!
There are some lovely small people postcards from Marianne… a lovely gift in our latest batch of Mostly (Old) Paper. I particularly like Mabel.. as in the folklore of Meet Me at Mikes… Mabel is Mikes sister!
There is a Tim-Tam.. because there was no bread.. and coffee on an empty stomach is just not good.
There’s a Raggedy Ann doll.. that was recently photocopied by a friend.. and there’s a note from someone special .. and there’s a note from me to Max (11).. as he gets up early to play on the computer.. so I left him a message to keep him company. In the distance there is Molly’s Degrassi DVD.. and Ari’s Garfield DVD. There’s some sticky tape.. and a printout of some Japanese embroidery designs.. which I am forever staring at.. yet never DOING!
On the floor.. next to the heater.. are some aprons waiting to get their photos taken!
Today I am taking the boys to see Spiderman 3.. which is really a challenge for me… as I am a bit of a sook when it comes to action movies.. however.. i am sure it will all be fine!
xx mikes

Wow Degrassi-of course pronounced with a short “a” (apple). I have never heard another Aussie mention this (Canadian)show. I love all the series, and could just eat them all up. I started watching the original series on ABC way back when I was first married. I “loved” that the original characters (child actors) came back as adults in the later series.
