:: Material Edge | Guinea Pig On A Limb

how to make a pompom

On Friday I’m heading up to Wangaratta to install my cute, interactive piece as part of the Material Edge show! Keep your eye on this blog to find out what it’s about (and how you can join in!) The opening is on Saturday at 2pm if you are near the Wang!

I’ve had such a big year, you know? I’ve really tried to make the most of all the things that have come my way. I’ve written my fifth book, created a few ecourses, developed a members’ site for bloggy types, spoken at lots of events and been invited to teach at a couple of amazing retreats in Bali. Woah.

I’m a) a bit scared/tired and b) super grateful and c) excited for what is to come.

Do you ever feel like you are out on a limb and it keeps getting longer (but a bit sturdier)? I feel like that. It’s a bit ace and a bit spew-y too.

It’s so easy to rest on your laurels, to trumpet about the things you’ve done but not keep pushing forward and challenging yourself. I don’t want to do that, however comfy that might be.

I’m definitely going to keep trying with the good things and the pushing and the risky business. Then we can all watch and see what happens to me! And if it all works out great, then that’s a good example for others to do the same, right?!  I’m so happy to be the guinea pig. I’m totally prepared to take whatever comes, for the team! Let’s see what happens! Gulp! (Yay!)

x Pip
