The Little Library Cafe Blog Shares Recipes From Your Favourite Books

October 21, 2016

Do you know about The Little Library Cafe?

It’s a really ace blog by Kate, featuring gazillions of recipes from literature and little stories to go with them. I have been reading this for quite a while, since I found out about it from The Guardian, and am frankly SO GLAD I do.

“Growing up, my memories of books and of food are intertwined – dreaming of rich treacle tart by the Gryffindor fire, drinking gallons of ginger beer and lemonade on Kirrin Island with the Famous Five and sharing a pot of creamy honey with Winnie the Pooh.

Recipes on this blog will be inspired by the books I grew up reading, and some that I’ve enjoyed more recently too,” The Little Library Cafe’s Kate says.

Kate has a book – The Little Library Cafe Cookbook – coming out very, very soon and I can’t wait to snap up a copy. Here’s a (literal) taste of the kind of stuff you can expect from it. (Click through for these recipes on Kate’s blog!)
