Japanese craft books are jam-packed with genius works of creativity, and even though they are entirely in Japanese (which I do not speak or read) the images and diagrams still never fail to inspire and delight – and even instruct, if I concentrate very hard! Perhaps you feel just the same?
The books below are all from the Etsy shop, Japan Zakka IlloIllo. They seem to use a slightly dodgy translating site when they craft their descriptions – but you will still get the gist, I am sure. (Check out this one for a bit of a giggle!)
You will probably also want to buy one or two books… and maybe a pompom maker set, too? Because these sets are the best and also my favourite way to make neat, waste-free pompoms!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed scouting for the books!

Hi there,
I just want to tell you that I love your blog! The lay out is really eye catching, the photographs are brilliant and everything is different and unusual. I’m so glad I found the snuggle stitch in Pinterest. Thank you.
Namaste,
