I’m a huge fan of the Print Gocco portable screen printing system. We’ve had lots of Gocco workshops at Brown Owls this year – and everyone who sees the system in action gets totally inspired (and dare I say obsessed) with the whole process.

If you think Gocco might be just the trick for you, you can buy a Gocco set up new from Nehoc (see below) or you can check eBay and Etsy for Goccos too. I bought my Print Gocco on eBay for a couple of hundred dollars. The Gocco consumables (like ink and screens) are readily available in Australia too.

I’ve used my Print Gocco lots and I love it to pieces. Money well spent, methinks, despite a few negatives like the pricey cost of consumables and the one-use only not-too-green globes you need to use to expose the Gocco screens.

All that aside, I still love Gocco. It’s really great for printing things like stationery, paper bags, invitations and mailers. If you are really clever you can print your own fabric, hankies, wood prints, totes, printed swing tags and moleskines too. I thought it would be great to compile a list of Gocco-centric links so you can find out more about the mysterious Gocco.

I wonder if some of this stuff could have been stolen, it’s all over the web and other peoples websites, unless you’re the content’s publisher?…
