Hello Cute Yarn Bowls and Random Things

November 14, 2018

If you’ve ever met a ball of yarn, you will know how knotty/naughty they can be.  Luckily some genius invented yarn bowls and then some other geniuses took them from utilitarian product to delightful pal, applying a whopping dose of cleverness, good humour and some crafty skills.

All these bowls (how good is the platypus one?!) are available at Barruntando’s Etsy shop thanks to their makers Anna, Eva, Mayte and Lola who are from Avilés in Spain.

You can follow them on Instagram here to keep up with their cute stuff (or on Facebook here, if you prefer.)

xx pip

Watching: Last Tango In Halifax and Coach Snoop (sweary!) on Netflix
Paying attention to: Bang On and The HighLow (my on-the-reg fave podcasts)
Listening to: Camp Flog Gnaw 2018 playlist/Astroworld by Travis Scott on Spotify (warning – both sweary, etc.)
Reading: Goodwood by Holly Throsby
Cooking: Lots of things. Shall I tell you about those in a post?
Trying: To do a little bit of yoga every day (thanks to Adriene’s Yoga on YouTube, of course!)

PS: Sorry I have been a bit AWOL here over the last week … I have been ultra tired and working a lot on writing projects/jobs, so being on the computer after already tapping away for 8+ hours seemed like not the best idea. WILL DO BETTER THOUGH! The doctor is sorting me out and I have lots of things to write about and tell you. Stay tunnnnned!

Yes please to a post on what you’ve been cooking! Did I tell you I bought the Together cookbook? Well I did but am yet to cook anything from it because I am in my last weeks of study so it’s all head down bum up, make the easiest food possible ie salad & bbq. And how great is Goodwood?! I finished it over the weekend & just loved it 🙂

I love the wee little sloth bowl. But they’re all anerable. How is Last Tango? Should I add it to my queue? I’ve watched all of Still Game on the Netflix and am ready for something new.
