Blog With Pip Pip-Life

:: Happy Birthday Blog With Pip!

blog with pip

Can you even believe Blog With Pip is ONE YEAR OLD today?! I can’t. I really CAN NOT! I never really excepted BWP to be as successful and personally rewarding as it has been, let alone all the other good stuff that’s happened BWP-style.

I’ve really got so much out of teaching new bloggers to strut their stuff. There have been so many lessons in the kindness of others, collective dreams and insecurities, the power of actually listening to each other, storytelling and the importance of having some kind of forum to just tool around and be ourselves (with others who want to tool about too!)

BWP has helped hatch some wonderful blogs and given a little encouraging push to some more established blogs. Friendships have been made and a community has sprung up out of an idea I figured would just be a helpful technical/writer-y push for students. It’s taken on a life of its own, really, mostly thanks to the rad people who put their faith in me to teach them bloggy stuff.

On this anniversary of my once-new thing, I would love to say thank you to all my students for being so warm and interested and full of bright ideas. You are all champs!!

Happy Birthday Blog With Pip
