Hey Babe-Faces!

How are you? I am okay. I am. I think. I’ve been a bit ill, so I’m trying to sort that out. I’ll be right as rain before you know it!

I thought I’d share some good stuff with you tonight. Beaming out the things from me to you!

1. A new song from Lisa Mitchell. She’s such an ace gal, right? I found this via my friend Alanka.

2. I’m thinking about Ubud a lot, so I’m reading this book (found via the Ubud Writer’s Festival hashtag!) It’s funny and I am liking the adventure of it, even though I don’t have a backpack OR a baby (anymore!)

3. I’ve just started watching this series about happiness on iView.

4. I’m thinking of having a week off soon. I am trying to manifest a little house by the sea or in the bush to retreat to. Mostly I just want to read books, write and look at the view. (And also eat good things!)

5. I am also reading Sally’s ace book. It’s super delightful and I love hearing about their family and the ride-on mower and about what you should dip in vinegar and how nice some cats are.

6. I am crocheting this (still!)

7. And I am painting this (more on that soon!)

Do you have anything good to share? Add it in the comments below! I’d love to read about it!

x Pip

    Such good things!
Apart from the sickness, that is not good and I hope it goes away soon.
I talked a tince about SFM on my blog last night and now I’m packing for Jazzy to go to camp while searching revelry for cute softie patterns. I’m thinking I might make a kitty.
    xx

Have been following your blog for ages – never commented, but if you would like to stay at a 1950s house in Ocean Grove with fabulous views out to sea of the Bluff at Barwon Heads, across to Torquay and across the Barwon River back towards Geelong – I am your contact – rvery reasonable rate for a week – have a think

Yes Pip! Working hard on a music/ creative project with my husband called The Quincys. I am learning loads of new skills, and just loving having so much to do (in a weird way maybe, given I am already busy). 🙂 I’d be still dreaming of Ubud too…such a beautiful place. Hope you get your week off soon. x

Hi Pipster, hey Sally’s ace book… Is it very meaty?? I’m not a meaty person ! Does it have some good veggie recipes? X

    Hi Pip
Yesterday – Sunday 5.10 I travelled to Bendigo. My daughter in law helped a friend of hers to organise a market to raise funds to honour the memory of the friends little son who had been taken from her in the worst possible way.
I am so proud of what both of them achieved in organising the fundraiser. They will be building a playground in his memory.
A whole community has come together. Out of a tragedy has come the best of people’s souls. What a shame it took a tragedy, but from it has come a healing and a sense of purpose for the family. I’m just really lucky. 🙂

Oh that’s amazing. How humbling, Robyn. What a wonderful, responsive, caring community they are. Good on you for being part of something so important. xx

Hi Pip, what stitch are you using for your latest blanket? Is it a double crochet? I love it.

It’s called SAND STITCH (possibly Tri-Colour Sand Stitch even..?) xx
