Hello Listen/Watch/Read Pip-Life

:: First Tuesday Book Club + BBC iPlayer

Whoops. It’s Wednesday. I am the WORST, right?!

Are you part of our First Tuesday Book Club? We’re reading books from THIS list at the moment. So far I have read Cloudstreet and some of the Harp In The South Trilogy. I must admit I got a bit cheaty and have dipped into Breath too. It’s not my fault. I got a bit seduced by Tim Winton and wanted to find out more. Books are like that, right? They’re like stepping stones to other things and other books. Phew.

Do you have a Kindle? I have the Kindle app on my iPad. I’ve got a whole bunch of stuff sitting in there waiting for me to read it. Amongst the list are:

My Berlin Kitchen
Blog Inc
Hattie (about Hattie Jacques)
A Patricia Highsmith biography
The Secret Keeper and
The $100 Startup

I also have a digital copy of Harp in the South, for when I’m on the go. I’m so busy at the moment, I haven’t had a solid block of time to commit to this lovely book. I am going to try harder. I promise. Scout’s honour. True. Β Have you read any of these books? What are you reading now? Do share! It doesn’t have to be from our book club list. I’d love to know!

I’ve also been making the most of my subscription to the BBC iPlayer. I watched Hattie the other night. SO GOOD. And then I started watching Single Father with David Tennant. So good and so sad! Do you use that app too?

x Pip

    maillot marseille 2014…

Its like you read my mind! You seem to grasp so much approximately this, such as you wrote the ebook in it or something. I believe that you simply can do with a few p.c. to power the message home a little bit, however other than that, that is wonderful…
