Sometimes you meet someone and you think they are ace and you want to make a thing with them? I’m not talking about a ROMANTIC thing (although can be good too!) Rather, I’m talking about a CREATIVE thing. A collaboration. A joint project de fun.

That’s what happened with Kristen of Each To Own and me! We met in Brisbane when I was invited to speak at the Brisbane Library (thanks to BrisStyle, the library and The (ace) Brisbane Brown Owls too!) She is just so nice and even though she didn’t have a hairbrush she could lend me, she did have a sassy ‘tude and a lovely way about her.

We have been talking about collaborating for a wee while, so when Etsy’s MAKE FOR GOOD popped up, we knew it was our time to shine!

#MakeForGood is a project initiated by Etsy Australia. They’re determined to raise a bunch of money to fund business loans to a bunch of great young women in the developing countries Plan Australia supports. You can read a bit more about that here. And read about the important Because I Am A Girl program here.

Etsy invited creative types to create and sell #MakeForGood products – choosing the them ‘silver linings’ to overarch the project – with a portion of sales going to Plan Australia.

Kirsten and I came up with these cute wooden wall pennants together. They’re an ode to nostalgia, girl gangs, good intentions and life-long dreams. 100% of the sale price will go to Plan Australia. AND there are only 12 of them. And they are only $55 each!

Get in quick and snap one up – support non-romantic things, local makers, Plan Australia, Etsy AND girl gangs! What could be better?!

Buy a #MakeForGood Silver Linings Wall Pennant here!
Find more #MakeForGood items here and help Plan Australia and Etsy to make a real difference!

There are only twelve! TWELVE!!! Quick!
