What? Anzacs? I know. It’s not Anzac Day. But I really LOVE Anzacs. I love Butternut Snaps too.. even though they don’t come close to the chewy aceness that is a good Anzac Biscuit. Victoria just gave me two Anzacs and a cup of tea. How nice is that? So nice. We are listening to the Sew La Tea Do Launch Mix on the iPod and I have just finished two email interviews. The thing is, now my Anzac interest is piqued and I want to make some. Very soon. Maybe tonight.
Have you noticed that sometimes Anzacs can be too dry and crumbly. I really don’t like that. And sometimes they are like little mounds of teeth-breaking sugaryness. I don’t like that either. Do you have a good Anzac Recipe? Can you post it on your blog and link to it? Or could you post it in the comments below, even? We want a golden, buttery, chewy, not too thin Anzac. Do you know an Anzac like that? Do you like Anzacs? Do you dunk them in your tea? What do you do?
