Soap. Look. I mean. I’ve never found it something to write home about, so to speak. (Feel free to disagree!)
When I stumbled upon Kara’s handmade soap, though, I starting wondering if I’d been a little harsh…
I mean, firstly, this soap is bright and cheery enough to make anyone’s bath time feel like a sudsy party. And secondly, I didn’t know that you could get (make!) soap that looks like it’s chock full of giant sprinkles.
I admit, I’m learning every day.
Kara has shared a how-to, in case you’ve been awakened to the pizazz that soap can be, and need a party INSIDE your bar of soap.
Not gonna lie, I think I do need that. Yup.
You can learn to make Kara’s Abstract Soap Bars (aka Mega-Sprinkle Party In A Bar Of Pizazz-y Soap) here.
xx Pip
PS: What soap do you like? Apart from this, obviously? What soap is the nicest?

oh I have done this, years ago, although I called it “stained glass” soap. It is pretty. My next batch will be sprinkly for sure!
I love handmade soap from the markets, scented with different herbs and/or spices. Like orange and clove, or rose petals, or even patchouli as long as it’s not strong enough to give me flashbacks to the early 80s!
I have wanted to make soap for the longest time but always tell myself it’s too tricky!
Maybe this will get you over the line?! Possible new craft addiction! x
