Hello

Boulevard of Broken Dreams

September 27, 2007

I’ve seen lots of these sort of pics lately on some of my favourite blogs.. reminds me of the time I broke my Holly Hobbie pepper shaker… and now I have one lonely salty one… I guess my point is.. it’s ok to be a little bit broken.. or to break things (if it’s an accident).

My mosaic maker will not work properly – so you can find all these in my Flickr faves – with credit to the photographers! (WHY does the mosaic maker not work properly!?)

xx mikes

I know a lady who LOVES penguins and broke one of her Penguin salt shakers. She made her family gather in the backyard whilst she buried it under a gum tree….. Scars often make great stories.

In the words of Leonard Cohen: “Forget your perfect offering; there is a crack in everything, it’s how the light gets in.”

They’re treasures even if they are broken 🙂
