Hello Peaches!

Today’s my second last day in Ubud. We’re flying home tomorrow afternoon. I feel like we’ve been here for SO LONG and have surprised myself by not letting homesickness completely overwhelm me! It’s such a beautiful place and I can 1 zillion percent recommend the villas we are staying at – Ubud Green. They are a little bit out of the centre of Ubud and away from the bustle, but you can walk into town in 20 minutes (perhaps less) or get a taxi and be there in 2! Also, the mosquitos are not too crazy (in fact it’s pretty easy to avoid them, which is not the case even just a little bit up the road!)

The retreat has been really ace! Intense and fun and funny and sweet and interesting. What happens on retreat stays on retreat, but if you are looking for a bit of a shake up and want to make a bunch of new friends, eat delicious food and sit around learning to make things all afternoon, you might want to keep an eye out for next year’s retreats (this year is sold out!)

Today we’re saying final goodbyes to our ace gals, shifting accommodation for one night, going shopping for presents and having a nice dinner together. Some family and friends are arriving and Defah and I are getting ready to come home to cosy nights and hot tea and heaps and heaps of toast!

I hope you have an ace weekend! What have you been doing? See you back in Melbs tomorrow!

x Pip

Glad it’s been such a rewarding trip Pip. I’m a bit of a homebody too especially if I’m away from the kids so I certainly know what you mean about homesickness. Safe travels back to beautiful Melbourne!
