'E' is for era.
Today Ari had his graduation ceremony. He finished Grade 6. This means not only has he stuck out 7 years of primary school and 2 years of kindergarten.... but that he's about to shift lanes and move into a whole different part of his school life. It's actually super meaningful, right? This marks NINE years of travel along the path marked Education. That's a LOT of years. Go Ari!
Ari's whole class received their certificates, played music, entertained and sang. And then they each gave a speech. I know I am totally biased, but Ari gave his speech in a really humble, good-humoured way. There was no pretence, smartypantsness or coolness. He just did it as himself. I am not sure if it's possible to do any better than that. I wish you could have been there! You would have loved it.
Congratulations on your new Excellent Era, Ari.
xx Pip
